You may not have heard of her but… DJ Shortee is recognized as the most diverse and technically skilled female DJ in the world; her 15 year career is highlighted by an unparalleled series of firsts. Shortee is the first female to produce an instructional DJ DVD series and the only female ever to produce a solo turntablist album,  Shortee has been described as the “World’s Premier Female DJ” by the Grammy Foundation. If you like DJ Shadow, you’ll love this international turntablist sensation!

We’ve got DJ Shortee performing her craft as a special treat to our festival. Other highlights of #fozzyfriday this week include the revolutionary Woulg, Girls on Deck Isis Graham, Mollifi and Blair Van Riesen, the notorious SIDESHOW, award winning Hej Zeus,  and the Calgarian classic, Jon Delerious.

Hey Friends of Fozzyfest!

Are you ready for #fozzyfridays? What are #fozzyfridays, you ask? Well, for the entire month of May, Fozzy’s gonna make Fridays even cooler than they already are.

In the next few weeks we will be posting a number of big news items (releasing our lineup, having our fund-generating pre-party on May 5, as well as conducting a shock-and-compel campaign called whatthefuckisfozzyfest.com.

FozzyFest has always grown organically—by word of mouth. Let’s take it to the next level!  FozzyFest is all about love, community, and great music. We want to generate the buzz that the festival deserves and we need your help to do it.

For each of these releases we need you to spread awareness on social media platforms like facebook, twitter, youtube and plain old email. Each of our announcements will be written by us and all you need to do is:
